Linux CAN
Linux-CAN has can-utils: SocketCAN user space applications.

Came across the International Journal of Proof-of-Concept or GTFO, which has some interesting articles.
Impressed by the use of embeding all the files as a zip within the PDF file: binary polyglots, which he descibes in Funky File Formats.
